Hi, I'm Jake and I'm a web developer. I live in Durham, NC with my wife and two dogs. In my free time, I love to learn new things, try new foods, and travel. My favorite country to travel to is Colombia and I look forward to going again soon!
I'm in the process of finishing up a Web Development degree and am currently employed in the application performance monitoring space. My favorite technologies are Svelte, React, and ChakraUI, but I also love to build websites in HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript.
I formerly worked as an account executive in the construction industry and have great communication skills. Additionally, my nearly 10 years of sales experience has strengthed my ability to understand client needs and develop business relationships.

This website was built for a fictional taqueria in Durham, North Carolina. It was built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It utilizes CSS Grid and flexbox to create a modern layout and design. It is fully responsive and built to be mobile friendly.

Redesigned website for Biltmore Estates using Bootstrap in this project. It features accordion menus, modern design, and image slides. It is fully responsive and built to be mobile friendly.
